Hi! I’m Marci Altman, and I’ve been providing family child care in the Elkridge community since 2007. I’m also a mom of two—one in their first year of college and one a senior in high school—so I know just how quickly those little years go by!
I love working with children because every day brings something new. I love watching their personalities grow, celebrating their milestones, and seeing the world through their eyes. Whether we’re creating something messy, exploring the garden, playing outside, or reading a favorite story, there’s always something to discover.
I wanted my daycare to be the kind of place I would have wanted for my own children—a home away from home where children feel safe, loved, and free to be themselves. With a small group, I’m able to truly get to know each child and give them the individual attention they deserve.
Over the years, the children and families I’ve cared for have become an extension of my own family. More than anything, I want every child who walks through my door to know they belong here.
When Marci is unable to provide care, the following substitutes are available to ensure the day care remains open.
